The Employee Life + Long-Term Care Insurance program combines life insurance protection with the ability to use benefits for long-term care expenses. This plan helps employees protect their families from the financial impact of chronic illness, extended care needs, or death — providing flexibility, guaranteed acceptance for eligible new hires, and employer-sponsored premium support.

Available to Eaton RESA employees hired on or after April 1, 2024. Enrollment includes guaranteed acceptance — no health questions or medical exams required during this limited-time offer.

EZ Value Option Automatically increases your benefit amount each year for an additional $1/week premium, with no medical underwriting required
Portability Coverage may continue after employment ends if premiums are maintained

How It Works

The plan combines permanent life insurance with long-term care coverage, allowing you to use your benefits in multiple ways. You can access your policy’s value to pay for qualifying long-term care services — such as home care, assisted living, or nursing home care — while still maintaining a life insurance benefit for your beneficiaries.

Benefit Growth

With Trustmark’s EZ Value feature, your benefits can grow automatically each year without medical underwriting:

  • Your rate increases by $1/week annually for a set number of years.
  • Your coverage amount increases each year to reflect the added premium.
  • Applies to all benefits tied to your coverage, including long-term care protection.
  • You can opt out of increases at any time, and you’ll be notified before each annual change.
